Théo Curin was a 6 years old when, after a devastating meningitis, he had all his 4 limbs amputated. Today he is a rewarded swimmer, he trains in Vichy (Allier).
Théo Curin is the true ambassador of the Paralympic movement and for him “everything is possible”! Amputated of all 4 limbs at the age of 6 following a devastating meningitis, Théo started swimming. His meeting with Philippe Croizon was the determined factor for the rest of his career.
He was in the basins from 7 a.m., 4 hours a day. His intensive training has enabled him to win a bronze medal at the London World Championships in 2019 and to participate in the Rio Paralympic Games in 2016.
Apart from swimming theo Curin has been a model since September 2019 and is therefore part of one of the largest cosmetics brands of the L’Oréal group.
“I went swimming to reveal my body. Now modeling is another tool to show off my body, to accept it despite my scars. That’s the message I want to get across”.
